Spanish Love Songs have shared another song from their upcoming four-track EP.

Offering upbeat melodies that contrast with Dylan Slocum’s reflective vocals, the bittersweet Heavenhead features Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties and explores the unsettling feeling that happiness won't last. Slocum said:

"We’ve been huge fans of Sarah and her work both with Illuminati Hotties and as a producer for some time now. Collin Pastore, who produced ‘No Joy’, had recommended we work with her as soon as we possibly could. The vibe of the song felt perfect for her, and it turns out we were correct! She crushed it and elevated the song to an entirely different level! Now I’m just sad I can’t have her harmonizing with me on every song."

Tudzin added: "When Dylan reached out about guesting on a track it was a yes, no question, before even hearing it. I’ve loved the records SLS has put out, and this track delivers in the most epic way - it’s a windows down, volume ALL the way up chorus and I couldn’t help but sing along!"

The track marks the latest preview of 'A Brief Intermission in the Flattening of Time', due out on November 21 via Pure Noise Records. The Los Angeles emo-punks previously teased the project with Cocaine And Lexapro featuring Kevin Devine, and Berlin with Tigers Jaw. The other song on the EP is titled Lifers Too, a collaboration with The Wonder Years.

Spanish Love Songs are currently amid a UK tour, which continues with a performance in Manchester tonight, before gigs in London and Leeds as part of the Common Thread Tour with Tigers Jaw. Tickets are on sale now.

Spanish Love Songs Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Thu October 23 2025 - MANCHESTER New Century Hall
Fri October 24 2025 - NOTTINGHAM Rescue Rooms
