Jeff Lynne's ELO Cancel Autumn UK And European Arena Tour

Friday, 15 May 2020 Written by Stereoboard

Jeff Lynne's ELO have cancelled their autumn UK and European tour.

Following some huge shows across mainland Europe, the legendary band were due to support their 2019 album ‘From Out Of Nowhere’ with arena concerts in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow between October 5 and 21.

However, the From Out Of Nowhere Tour will no longer go ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement online, Lynne said:

"It's with deep regret and sadness that I have to cancel my upcoming October UK tour, but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic the live shows cannot go ahead as planned. The safety of everyone including my crew, the people who work in support of the shows and of course you, the fans, must come first. Keep well & stay safe."
