Orville Peck Releases Video For Shania Twain Collaboration Legends Never Die

Friday, 14 August 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Orville Peck has released a video for Legends Never Die.

The collaboration with country star Shania Twain appears on Peck's new EP, 'Show Pony', which is out now. Twain also features in the video, which finds the pair performing at a drive-in concert — something that promoters across the world have been seriously working on in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The clip also features appearances by Jaida Essence Hall, Evil, Teddy and the Rough Riders, Emily Nenni, Miss Toto, Dale Hollow, Beau Turrentine, Dez Sam, Rebecca Brosnan, Zachariah Shaw, Dinah Rankin, Jake Davis, Glen Sulski and Diplo.

In a social media post about his first major label release, Peck said:

"Well gang, about Show Pony- this EP is the continuation of everything I worked for on Pony. It’s both a look back into the past and a peek into the future. It’s the ‘middle sister’ record y’all. I wrote and produced and played everything I can on it (thank you to my band who helps me with what I can’t!) and did it all while on tour last year! The songs are about love, heartbreak, childhood and pride. I still can’t believe we got THE Shania Twain on it. This is also my first release with a major label so if y’all like what you hear then go and grab yourself and your mamas, maybe even your papas, a copy 🤠. Thank you for being patient, and see y’all tonight to celebrate at the viewing party! Get your boots on and #letsgogirls #legendsneverdie"

The Canadian artist was recently forced to reschedule his US tour due to COVID-19. Check out the new dates on the poster below.
