Crowded House Announce To The Island New Zealand Tour For March, Share New Single Whatever You Want

Crowded House will take their To The Island Tour across New Zealand in March 2021.
The Australian rock veterans will hit the road for a 10-date run, including stops in Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown, Wellington and Auckland. Tickets for all shows go on general sale at noon local time on November 5.
The trek marks the first time the band have played in New Zealand since 2010. They also played a series of anniversary shows across the water on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in 2016.
The band is currently comprised of Liam and Elroy Finn on guitar and drums, respectively, with keyboardist and producer Mitchell Froom joining founding members frontman Neil Finn and bassist Nick Seymour. Neil said:
"We are thrilled and highly energised to be touring NZ in March. The shows will be a joyous occasion for us, with all the songs from our history that still resonate, some new music to unveil and our home crowds to share all that with…feeling truly blessed."
Alongside the tour news, the band have dropped their first new music in over a decade, Whatever You Want, a bouncy, mid-tempo track that's anchored by a groove-heavy bassline and jangly guitar.
Head below to check out its humorous Nina Ljeti-directed video which stars Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco in his acting debut. It's unclear whether it's a standalone single or part of a forthcoming body of work. Their last studio record was 2010's 'Intriguer'.
In related news, the band will return to the UK as part of their rescheduled European tour in summer 2021.
