UB40 To Play Birmingham's Sandwell Valley Park In August

UB40 will play a huge show in Birmingham this summer.
The reggae legends — James Brown, Duncan Campbell, Robin Campbell, Earl Falconer, Norman Hassan, Martin Meredith, Tony Mullings, Laurence Parry and Brian Travers — will take over Sandwell Valley Country Park on August 1.
Tickets for the show on general sale at 10am on April 9, while the special guests are yet to be announced. They said:
"We're really excited to play at the beautiful Sandwell Valley Country Park on Sunday August 1st. Join us for an outdoor all-dayer, with an amazing line up which will be announced soon!"
The hometown performance will precede the band's Bigga Baggariddim Tour throughout November and December. They're also due to play gigs at Worcester Racecourse, Lingfield Park Resort and Rochester Castle during the summer. Tickets for these shows are already on sale.
Their latest album, 'For the Many', was released in 2019.
