Tuesday, 18 May 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced a short European tour for summer 2022.

The nine-date run will get underway on June 15 in Athens, Greece, and include events such as Metronome in the Czech Republic, and Pohoda in Slovakia, before wrapping up at Way Out West in Sweden on August 12. Head below to see their full schedule.

Tickets for their dates in Zagreb, Prague, Trenčín and Øya are on sale now, while their gig in Greece goes on sale at 9am on May 20. Tickets for their concerts in Germany and Austria are released at 10am on May 21, with their appearance in Gothenburg on sale at 10am on May 25.

Last December, the band cancelled their 2021 tour dates due to coronavirus concerns. They were set to hit the road in support of their latest album, 2019's 'Ghosteen'. Cave, meanwhile, put out 'Idiot Prayer - Nick Cave Alone at Alexandra Palace' in November.

In February of this year, bandmates Cave and Warren Ellis released 'Carnage', which was recorded in just a few weeks during the COVID-19 lockdown. Following that, they put out a 7" single called Grief.

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed June 29 2022 - BERLIN Waldbuhne (Germany)
Wed August 03 2022 - RASTATT Erenhof Im Schloss (Germany)
Fri August 05 2022 - KLAM Burg (Austria)
