GWAR Plot Summer UK And Europe Leg Of The Black Death Rager World Tour

GWAR have announced The Black Death Rager World Tour.
The self proclaimed scumdog warriors have lined up a handful of headline European shows around their sets at Munich's Free and Easy Festival, Wacken, and Makowice's Pol’and’Rok Festival.
Following that, the UK leg will call in Dover, Brighton, Bristol, Norwich, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Walton-On-Trent, where they'll play Bloodstock festival on August 12. Tickets go on sale at 10am on February 25. Vocalist Berserker Blóthar said:
“Ah Europe, the Old Country. We shall sweep across the continent like the plague, bringing pestilence and death and our unquenchable thirst for heavy metal glory.”
The American band are hitting the road in support of their new album, 'The New Dark Ages', which is accompanied by a graphic novel, GWAR In The Duoverse of Absurdity. The CD and digital versions of the album will arrive alongside the novel on June 3, with the vinyl and cassette formats set to follow on September 16. Blóthar continued:
“This is the greatest rock record of all time.These are the songs for a new age, a New Dark Age, when men live by the dimming light of a technology destined to betray them. Listen, as we have a rock and roll orgy in the ruins of the world to celebrate humanity’s descent into an age of darkness, disease, ignorance, and death.”
