Bloodstock Reveal More Metal 2 The Masses Winners For Line-Up

Tuesday, 05 July 2022 Written by Laura Johnson

Bloodstock have revealed more winning bands and runners-up from the Metal 2 The Masses finals.

Friday's bill welcomes South Wales champions I Fight Bears and Northern Ireland runners-up Nømadus, while Saturday brings Collected who were runners-up in Essex; Kent runners-up Silen, and Tribe Of Ghosts. Sunday offers North Wales winners Apollyon; Macclesfield quintet Karma's Puppet, and Hertfordshire's Must Kill.

They'll all play the New Blood Stage, along with the previously revealed winning bands; Existentialist, Fyresky, Verminthrone, Novacrow, Headpress, Collapse The Sky, Imperium, and Sulvain.

The festival has also revealed more talent set to rip up the Jagermeister stage this summer, including The Kunts Unplugged, Warlock AD, Lore Of The Woodman, and Acid Throne, who join Swamp Coffin, Certain Death, Boz, Solar Sons, Master Charger, Deadlock Saints, and Tooms.

It has also been confirmed by organisers that Injested will replace Black Tongue on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday. The announcement follows news that Malevolence will replace Hatebreed as headliners of the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday night, after the American metalcore band was forced to pull out of a handful of European shows.

Due to other unforeseen logistical issues, Night Flight Orchestra will now headline on Sunday night, with Dark Tranquillity moving to headline the Sophie Lancaster stage on Thursday.

The UK's largest celebration of heavy music will take over Catton Park in Walton-on-Trent, Derbyshire in August, with Behemoth headlining the first day, Mercyful Fate topping Saturday's bill, and Lamb Of God closing the party on Sunday.
