Tegan And Sara Post Video For New Track I Can't Grow Up

Tegan And Sara have dropped a new track, I Can't Grow Up.
The catchy indie-pop song serves as the latest preview of the Canadian duo's upcoming album, 'Crybaby', following the previously unveiled Fucking Up What Matters, Yellow, and Faded Like A Feeling.
"[It] was musically inspired by Chicago band Dehd and their album Flower of Devotion," according to Sara Quin. "The song started on bass, an instrument I'd never written with until 'Crybaby', and I was channelling a little bit of Emily Kempf from Dehd, and Peter Hook from New Order. My partner had travelled back to the U.S., after a year of being stuck in Canada during the pandemic, and I was enjoying late nights alone writing music and singing full tilt in the basement."

The follow-up to 2019's 'Hey, I’m Just Like You' is due out on October 21 via Mom + Pop Music, with the pair set to support the release with an intimate North American headline tour this fall. Tickets are on sale now.
