Tim Minchin has shared a fourth early single from his upcoming studio album.

Following I Wouldn't Like You, Ruby, and The Song of The Masochist, You Grew On Me is another poignant ballad that blends darkly humorous lyricism with emotional depth. Minchin said:

"I've performed this tune in various forms for years, and it has always been one of my faves. It's sort of discombobulating because it constantly shifts: between funny and heartfelt, between two different time signatures, and between different key centers. This version, with its bonkers choral backing vocals and awesome Jak Housden guitar, is deeply satisfying to me."

The song is the latest preview of 'Time Machine', due out through BMG on July 25, and arrives ahead of the Australian singer-songwriter and comedian's three-night residency at London's Eventim Apollo this weekend. His Songs The World Will Never Hear Tour then heads to Birmingham, Manchester, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Bath and Nottingham. Tickets are on sale now.
