Tim Minchin Releases New Track I Wouldn't Like You

Tim Minchin has shared another track from his upcoming studio album.
Following on from The Song of The Masochist and Ruby, I Wouldn't Like You starts as a gentle piano ballad before gradually evolving into an anthemic guitar-led number.
Recorded alongside guitarist Jak Housden, with Evan Mannell on drums and percussion, and James Haselwood playing bass, it marks the third preview of 'Time Machine', due out through BMG on July 25. Minchin said:
"Of all the tunes on this record that have been reinvented, this one has had the most successful vibe update. I always thought this was a keeper, but now with Evan’s loping groove, and the pure undeniable jank of Jak’s guitar in the chorus... I love it.”
The new song arrives as the Australian singer-songwriter and comedian continues his Songs The World Will Never Hear Tour with the second of two consecutive nights at London's Soho Theatre tonight (June 5).
