Olly Murs has joined the line-up for BBC Radio 2 in the Park at Chelmsford's Hylands Park.
Fresh from his spring arena tour, the pop star has confirmed he'll perform at the station's flagship live music festival on September 7, alongside previously confirmed headliner Def Leppard, plus Anastacia, Soul II Soul, Suede, Louise, David Gray and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Murs said:
"It’s always amazing to play in my home county and even better to top off an incredible summer of shows with a date there. Radio 2 have always supported me across my career, so being able to celebrate with them and so many great artists make this show even more special."
Taking place across three days, BBC Radio 2 in the Park will also host Saturday headliner Bryan Adams, as well as Belinda Carlisle, Ronan Keating, Jessie J, Kid Kreole and The Coconuts, Marti Pellow, Ella Henderson and Stereophonics.
The Friday night DJ party will also return with sets from Radio 2 presenters Vernon Kay, Scott Mills, Rylan, DJ Spoony and Michelle Visage. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
Olly Murs is currently on the road with his 15 Years of Hits Tour, which continues with a Live At The Marquee performance in Cork on Sunday (July 13).
