Ed Sheeran has revealed plans to return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with his new Loop Tour.
The British superstar has confirmed 10 stadium shows for January, February and March, with stops lined up in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The shows will support the singer-songwriter's new album, 'Play', due out on September 12, and feature exciting surprises, new music, and Sheeran's biggest hits. Posting to social media, he wrote:
"Starting a brand new tour next year called the LOOP tour. New stage, new tricks, new set up, new songs and all the classics added in. We kick it off in Australia and New Zealand in Jan, Feb, March 2026, which is always the best time, I can’t wait to be back."
Sheeran last toured Australia in 2023 with his sold-out Mathematics World Tour. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at varying times depending on the region next Tuesday (July 29).
He'll resume the ongoing summer European leg of his Mathematics World Tour with the first of two consecutive shows in Oslo, Norway on Saturday (July 26). Tickets are on sale now.
Previously, Sheeran teased the upcoming record with the singles Sapphire, Old Phone and Azizam. He also recently contributed the track Drive to 'F1 The Album', an accompaniment to the film, both released last month.
