System Of A Down have announced some huge UK and European shows for 2026.
The Armenian-American band will be joined by Queens Of The Stone Age for stadium concerts in Stockholm, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Dusseldorf and Warsaw between June 29 and July 18. Their only UK show on the run will be at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 13.
Opening the shows will be American sludge metal band Acid Bath. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on September 19.
This summer saw SOAD play two shows apiece in East Rutherford, New Jersey with Korn, Chicago with Avenged Sevenfold, and Toronto with Deftones.
The Grammy-winners released their latest album, 'Hypnotize', back in 2005, though they put out two songs, Protect The Land and Genocidal Humanoidz, through Bandcamp for the Armenia Fund in 2020.
Since then, the members have been pursuing separate projects. Frontman Serj Tankian released the solo EP 'Foundations' in September 2024, and will put out the album 'Covers, Collaborations & Collages' on October 24. He's already teased it with the singles I'm Counting On You, A Seed, and Electric Dreams.
Guitarist Daron Malakian's band Scars On Broadway, meanwhile, released their latest album, 'Addicted To The Violence' this July.
Queens Of The Stone Age put out their latest studio album, 'In Times New Roman...', in 2023, which they followed up with the live EP 'Alive In The Catacombs' this June.
Acid Bath have not released anything new since the '90s, and the upcoming shows will be their first ever European tour.
