Chelsea Wolfe, Primus And Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas To Headline ArcTanGent 2026

Wednesday, 26 November 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

More acts have been announced for next summer's ArcTanGent festival.

Headlining the Somerset festival will be American singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe on Thursday, legendary experimental rock band Primus on Friday, and Cult Of Luna and Julie Christmas on Saturday, celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'Mariner' by performing the album in full.

More of Wednesday's bill is also confirmed, with Sikth headlining and new additions Napalm Death, High On Fire, Conjurer, and cellist and composer Jo Quail, performing with the Crossbones Ensemble in a UK exclusive set. ArcTanGent Festival organiser James Scarlett said:

"The stars really have aligned for this set of ArcTanGent headliners - and it’s safe to say all three have been firmly at the top of our wish lists for a very, very long time. Primus at ArcTanGent is well overdue, Chelsea Wolfe can finally make that headliner appearance following the booking, announcement and then cancellation from back in 2020 due to Covid, and 'Mariner' by Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas is 100% one of the greatest albums of all time (and celebrating it's 10th anniversary next year!). To have them all headline ATG in the same year is literally unbelievable - and we’re extremely proud to present a festival line up truly unlike anything else you’ll find on the planet."

The line-up also features UK exclusive performances from Igorrr, Perturbator, Oathbreaker and Alcest, plus sets by Chat Pile, Agent Fresco, TTNG, Heck — reforming to celebrate 10 years of 'Instructions' — and Humanfly, returning for their first show in 13 years.

There will also be performances from Town Portal, Shearling, Michael Cera Palin, while British rockers Amplifier will host a special live silent disco set.

Wednesday will also feature Svalbard's final festival show, as well as French post-rock band Lost In Kiev and mat rock group Alpha Male Tea Party. Head below for the line-up so far.

The festival of math rock, post-rock, noise-rock, alt rock and everything in between will return to Fernhill Farm in Compton Martin in mid-August for its 12th edition, with the opening day of the event (August 19) reserved for four-day ticket holders only.

What? A four-day event with an eclectic line-up of bands from all over the world, full of loud noises, sharp edges, weird time signatures and off-kilter hooks.

Where? Fernhill Farm in Compton Martin. It's just 10 miles from Bristol and two hours from London.

When? August 19 - 22, 2026.

Who? Chelsea Wolfe, Primus, and Cult Of Luna and Julie Christmas — performing 'Mariner' in full — will headline the main stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, respectively. Sikth will headline on Wednesday.

The line-up also features UK exclusive performances from Igorrr, Perturbator, Oathbreaker, Alcest, and Jo Quail, along with appearances from Chat Pile, Agent Fresco, TTNG, Heck—reforming to mark 10 years of Instructions—and Humanfly, returning for their first show in 13 years.

Other acts announced so far include BRUIT ≤, Amplifier (silent disco live set), Psychonaut, Overhead, Michael Cera Palin, Darkher, Shearling, Town Portal, Barrens, Blessings, Bucket, Erotic Secrets of Pompeii, HAAL, KLÄMP, Meatdripper, No Violet, Tanzana, Zatokrev, and Sara Zozaya.

Also performing on the Wednesday will be Napalm Death, High On Fire, Conjurer, Svalbard, Alpha Male Tea Party, Lost In Kiev, The Albatross, Chalk Hands, DIMSCÛA, Giant Walker, The Grey, Sans Froid, and Swamp Coffin.

More acts are still to be revealed. Stay tuned.
