Yonaka Announce Second Album 'Until You're Satisfied', Share New Single Cruel

Yonaka have laid out plans for their second studio album.
The follow-up to their 2019 debut 'Don't Wait Til Tomorrow' is titled 'Until You're Satisfied' and will arrive on March 13, marking their first full-length release for Distiller Records, having recently signed with the label.
Produced by Alex Crosby and Dimitri Tikovoi, whose previous credits include Placebo and The Libertines, the 13-track record also sees vocalist Theresa Jarvis guiding the band into exploring matters of the heart. She said: "This record’s about love but it’s not all gooey - it’s the dirty bits and the harsh bits that happen to everyone whether you admit it or not."
It'll include the Brighton-based trio's September single, Problems, as well as the newly shared track Cruel, a dark, industrial-rock offering that Jarvis said is about a relationship, "that can make you turn animalistic and feral; where you can be ripped apart whilst ripping someone else apart as well."
The song nearly found an unexpected home outside of the album, according to bassist Alex Crosby: "During the recording process, we flew in and out of London to audition for Eurovision with it."
Jarvis continued: "On the Eurovision forums, loads of people were putting our names in and the fans were asking for us, which is why they reached out. But that version had a different chorus, so I’m glad we didn’t get it in the end."
Yonaka will support Don Broco on their UK tour in December. Tickets are on sale now.
