Lamb Of God Announce 10th Album 'Into Oblivion', Share Title Track

Lamb Of God have announced their first full-length release in four years.
The Virginia groove-metal heavyweights will drop 'Into Oblivion' on March 13, following up 2022's 'Omens'. It saw the Grammy-nominated band reuniting with long-time producer Josh Wilbur. Vocalist Randy Blythe shared:
"Because that’s where we’re heading. In general, the album is about the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would’ve horrified people just 20 years ago."
"For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation", explained guitarist Mark Morton. "It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let's just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started."
Their 10th album includes their recent singles Parasocial Christ and Sepsis, as well as the punishing title track, which fuses ferocious riffs and grooves with intense lyrics. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts.
Lamb Of God will support the album with a previously scheduled North America tour this spring, featuring support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy and Sanguisugabogg.
As part of a packed summer of European festival appearances, they'll headline the 25th anniversary edition of the UK's Bloodstock Festival in August, alongside Slaughter To Prevail and Judas Priest. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
