Lamb Of God have released a new single, Sepsis
Produced by long-time collaborator Josh Wilbur, the track delivers heavy riffs and a brooding, intense atmosphere. It marks the Grammy-nominated Virginia metallers' first original release under their own steam since 2022's 'Omens', and arrives alongside news that they've signed a deal with Century Media Records.
Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Gianfranco Svagelj. Guitarist Mark Morton said:
"Sepsis is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming Burn the Priest. Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger—though they never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together."
Next year, they'll join Slaughter To Prevail and Judas Priest as headliners of the 25th anniversary edition of the UK's Bloodstock Festival. Tickets are on sale now.
