Beans On Toast has laid out plans for a new album.
Recorded at Greenmount Studios in Leeds with The Beans On Toast Band, a hand-picked cast of musician friends from the UK music and festival scene, 'Kill Them With Kindness' will arrive on December 1 via BOTMusic. Beans On Toast said:
"We've done a few tours together, but this was our first venture into a studio. Each one of them is amazing, and together... well, I'm proper chuffed with how it sounds. This album is a bit of a juxtaposition, as is the title. There are songs that deal with the current state of the world. Wars, maniac leaders, the rise of AI and the fall of the establishment. Then there are songs about trees, late nights in music venues, art, love and my new cat. As usual, it's a time stamp of my thoughts and feelings from the past year on planet Earth."
Exploring the chaos of the world, family life, tree planting, and the weirdness of modern life, the record's first single, Glastonbury Oak, will be shared tomorrow (October 3).
The English singer-songwriter has a solo tour scheduled for this November and December, ahead of new full Beans On Toast Band shows next spring. He also has Australian shows in the diary for January.
Tickets for the new UK dates go on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 3). All other dates are on sale now.
