Embrace Tickets For 30th Anniversary UK Tour On Sale 10am Today

Embrace will hit the road again this autumn. Embrace tickets go on general sale at 10am today.
The British indie stalwarts have announced a UK tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary, beginning on November 9 in Aberdeen and running until November 28, when it will conclude in Cardiff.
The trek will follow festival and concert series appearances this summer, including Live At The Piece Hall series in Halifax in June. Prior to that, they'll headline the Shiiine On Weekender at Butlin's Skegness in March
They'll also mark the 30-year milestone with spoken-word shows, with McNamara set to tour the UK with an evening of stories about the band from this September to May 2027, alongside the release of a new book about the band's early years. Head here for details.
The band also recently announced a new album, 'Avalanche', which is due out on June 12 through Cooking Vinyl. Alongside the announcement, Embrace shared the single Road To Nowhere, which showcases their signature soaring, anthemic indie rock sound and heartfelt lyrics. Press play below.
"It’s about the futility of a toxic relationship — the fact you don’t realise you’re on a road to nowhere until you reach the end of it," McNamara explained. "And really, all roads lead there eventually, so the only thing that matters is how you travel. That’s why the song feels uplifting as well as sad: because the intent was pure. There’s belief, optimism, a stubborn faith that love will get you somewhere better. In retrospect unfortunately in this instance that faith was deluded — the road didn’t lead where I thought it would — but the journey was real, and it was everything I had."
