Madonna has announced her highly anticipated new album.

'Confessions II' is set for release through Warner Records on July 3. It serves as a sequel to the pop icon's 2005 Grammy-winning record 'Confessions On A Dance Floor' and found the singer reuniting with Stuart Price, who produced the original.

The new studio album will be the American superstar's first since 2019's 'Madame X'. Head below to check out its cover art and watch a teaser featuring a snippet of a clubby new song called I Feel So Free. Teasing the 16-track project, Madonna said:

"When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto:

We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we’ve been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect —with your wounds, with your fragility.

To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.

Sound, light, and vibration
Reshape our perceptions
Pulling us into a trance-like state.
The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it.

Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time."

Ahead of today's announcement, Madonna wiped her Instagram and updated her bio to "Time goes by so slowly...",  a lyric from the 'Confessions On A Dance Floor' opening track Hung Up.

Since 'Madame X', Madonna has also released two remix compilations, 'Finally Enough Love!' (2022) and 'Veronica Electronica' (2025), as well as a number of reissues of previous albums. She has also collaborated with Beyoncé, Fireboy DML and Sam Smith.

Her last tour, The Celebration Tour, commemorated her 40-year career and spanned Europe, North America and South America, between October 2023 and May 2024.
