SAOSIN have returned with their first new music in over a decade.

Pairing intricate guitar riffs and post-hardcore energy with melodic vocals, Starting Over Again marks the California band's first release since their 2023 reunion with singer Cove Reber, who initially joined SAOSIN in 2004 and sang on the band’s first two albums, 2006's self-titled LP and 2009's 'In Search Of Solid Ground'.

It's also their first new song to feature guitarist Phil Sgrosso, who started touring with the band in 2016 and more recently became a full-time member.

Produced and mixed by Sgrosso and fellow guitarist Beau Burchell, the track arrives alongside news that the band have signed a deal with Sumerian Records. They said:

"Starting Over Again is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realising the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked. This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward."

The five-piece, completed by bassist Chris Sorenson and drummer Alex Rodriguez, released their most recent album, 'Along The Shadow', in 2016, with the new song their first since then.

SAOSIN will embark on a tour of Australia and New Zealand later this week, followed by shows in Asia and appearances at the UK's Slam Dunk Festival in Hertfordshire and Leeds. They’ll also play the Vans Warped Tour in Mexico City and Aftershock Festival in Sacramento later in the year, before setting sail on the Emo's Not Dead Cruise departing Miami in early 2027.
