Ruel Plots Autumn UK And European Leg Of Kicking My Feet & Screaming World Tour

Ruel has announced UK and European shows for the autumn.
The Australian pop star will bring his Kicking My Feet & Screaming World Tour to Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Brighton, London and Manchester between October 1 and 10, followed by dates in cities across the continent, including Rotterdam, Utrecht, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, Copenhagen, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Milan, Zurich, Barcelona and Madrid.
The tour, which kicked off in February with a North American leg and Latin America Lollapalooza dates, takes its name from part two of Ruel's double-album project, 'Kicking My Feet & Screaming', due out on June 12, following part one, 'Kicking My Feet', released last October.
Alongside the news, Ruel has shared the alt-rock and pop hybrid Hate Myself as the second single from 'Kicking My Feet & Screaming'. Co-written with Kenny Beats and Jackson Morgan, it follows his earlier track Don't Say That, which dropped last month. Ruel said:
"I wrote this one on the day I met Kenny and Jackson, and when you meet someone for the first time, you sort of try to focus on getting to know one another. After 5-6 hours in the studio, we had basically nothing but then Kenny threw a bit of a hail Mary, the three of us mixed ideas around, and next thing we knew we had the whole song in about 30 mins. Since then, every session I’ve had with Kenny has flowed so well and the two of us wrote a good chunk of the album Part 2 together!"
Tickets for his new UK dates go on general sale at 10am on April 30. On sale dates for the European shows vary by region, with details for some stops still to be confirmed.
Ruel will also make his debut appearance at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton next month. Tickets are on sale now.
