Heaven 17 have announced a UK tour for the autumn.
The synth-pop pioneers — Martyn Ware and Glenn Gregory — will celebrate the 45th anniversary of their debut studio album, 'Penthouse and Pavement', with shows in England, Wales and Scotland during October.
The tour will see the duo perform tracks from the 1981 record, with stops confirmed in Wolverhampton, Cardiff, Bexhill, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Norwich, Northampton, Liverpool and Leeds. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (May 1). Ware said:
"This will be a fantastic tour to celebrate the influence that Penthouse and Pavement had on a generation of electronic funk lovers - we can’t wait!"
Ahead of the tour, Heaven 17 have live shows scheduled this spring and summer, including Let's Rock Southampton, dates supporting Holly Johnson at London's Live At Chelsea series and Halifax's Live At The Piece Hall series, and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) at the Live At York Museum Gardens series, as well as an appearance at 80s Calling at Discovery Festival Darlington.

The band released their latest studio album, 'Naked As Advertised', in 2008, though they've since put out several live albums, compilations and remix records.
