Dylan John Thomas has returned with a new single, Got You On My Mind.
Released via Believe Music and blending banjo and brass intrumentation with heartfelt songwriting, the upbeat track arrives ahead of the singer-songwriter's homecoming appearance at Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival next month, as well as slots at Kendall Calling and Victorious Festival in August. He said:
“I got into banjo two years ago, just after the first album came out. We went on a wee trip round Scotland, and I took it with us. We were just kicking around, playing all the old folk songs. It gives a different type of sound to the guitar. It’s still sticking within that bluegrass feel, I suppose, with the rolling fingerpicking. But I wanted to see if we could fit it into the new tunes."

Thomas released his self-titled debut album in 2024, but despite the new material there's currently no word on its follow-up.
