La Roux Announces Fourth Album 'Old Flames' With New Single Cabin Fever

La Roux has returned with details of her fourth album.
'Old Flames', the long-awaited follow-up to 2020's 'Supervision', will arrive on November 6 via Vertigo Records. Written, composed, produced and arranged by the Grammy winner, the 11-track album explores the end of a 17-year relationship, forbidden love, addiction and dealing with identity and sexuality while in the public eye. La Roux said:
"This record says things how they are: how I am and who I am. It’s been a process of admitting what I got wrong through telling these tales and coming to terms with where I am now. Old Flames is essentially me processing why I've behaved the way that I have and saying goodbye to it. It's a farewell to that way of behaving in love and life. And in music too."
Alongside the announcement, the producer, songwriter and performer has shared the album's first single, Cabin Fever, a synthy R&B-inspired offering. She explained: "Cabin Fever’ is about where I was: stuck in my head and lost, having to be brutally honest about it in order to escape."
La Roux will tour North America, the UK and Australia this year supporting Hilary Duff on the singer and actress's Lucky Me Tour, which begins next month.
Since her last album, La Roux has collaborated with several major artists, including Chromeo, Baby Tate, Tion Wayne, Tyler, The Creator, CASISDEAD and Gang of Four.
