Kings Of Convenience have announced a UK and Ireland tour for spring 2027. Kings Of Convenience tickets go on general sale at 10am today.
The Norweigian folk duo will perform material from all four of their studio albums — 2001's 'Quiet Is The New Loud', 2004's 'Riot On An Empty Street', 2009's 'Declaration of Dependence' and 2021's 'Peace or Love' — as well as some new music, at shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Bristol, Manchester and London, where they'll conclude the run at the Royal Albert Hall on May 25. Announcing the news on social media, they wrote:
"Look at us! We are playing the Royal Albert Hall next year! And properly touring the UK while we are at it. Performing material from all the 4 albums and hopefully at that point having new material to show you too. Plus Dublin!
"Years and years have passed and we never did a headline show in Dublin. We opened for Low in 2001 at the Olympia, but for some mysterious reason we never returned to the emerald isle. Meanwhile many Irish have come to our shows around the world, and we look forward to gather them all at Vicar Street next year, and same time take the opportunity to wander the streets of Dublin and admire your doors."
Kings Of Convenience will tour Europe and Asia this summer, including stops in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Italy and Japan. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
