Mykki Blanco has announced a new album.

The California artist will release 'Cafe Paradiso' through Transgressive Records on September 4, following up 2022's 'Stay Close To Music' and 2023's 'Postcards From Italia' EP. Recorded in New York and made with longtime collaborator and producer Drew "FaltyDL" Lustman, the album comes after Blanco stepped away from recording to pursue a Master in Fine Arts in Switzerland.

Inspired by a life spent travelling, from New York lunch counters and East Village bars to cafés in Paris and tea houses in Tangier, it brings together what Blanco calls "a record for artsy kids", a soundtrack for "city-minded people to sit alone in a café and think, plan their lives, or just figure things out."

Alongside the news, Blanco has shared the record's lead single, Little Feet, featuring Ian Isiah and Breakaway, which blends soft vocals with atmospheric production. It arrives with an Alvaro Kreyden-directed video set in a mansion, showing Blanco's idea of a stylish person who enjoys hedonism, experimentation and artistic expression.

"If there is one thing I know how to do, it’s how to get the most out of life”, Blanco said. "You fuck up. You make mistakes. But hopefully, you’re achieving more than you’re fucking up. Overall, I would say I do well, milking life for all it’s got."

Blanco will play Bristol's Simple Things Festival in November. Tickets are on sale now.

'Cafe Paradiso' tracklist:

1. Little Feet
2. NYC Dogs
3. Butt Sex
4. Easy Does It
5. Wasted in Soho
6. FOXES
7. F**k as Friends
