Mykki Blanco Previews 'CAFE PARADISO' With Third Single NYC DOGS

Mykki Blanco has shared a third single from his upcoming album.
Driven by gritty guitar, NYC DOGS blends garage-rock, blues and funk influences for another taste of 'CAFE PARADISO', due out on September 4 via Transgressive Records. Blanco said:
"I chose to record CAFE PARADISO in New York because I wanted to come home for a bit. New York is where I ran away to when I was 16… where I first began writing music after dropping out of Parsons School of Design, where I published my first book of poetry, and where I launched my career on the underground scene 13 years ago.
"CAFE PARADISO is a record for city kids. It’s heavily inspired by New York, but the New York of now, which isn’t parochial but transatlantic. CAFE PARADISO is also global. It’s a series of vignettes that speak to the lives lived inside the concrete jungle."
Blanco previously teased the follow-up to 2022's 'Stay Close To Music' and his 2023 'Postcards From Italia' EP with the earlier singles Butt Sex and Little Feet featuring Ian Isiah and Breakaway.
He'll support the album with a tour across Europe and the UK this autumn, with the run including an appearance at Bristol's Simple Things Festival in early November.
