Susanna Hoffs has announced her first album of all-new material in almost 15 years.
The Bangles co-founder will release 'The List' through her own Baroque Folk record label on September 18, following 2012's 'Someday'. Her latest studio album came in the form of 2024's 'The Lost Record', featuring previously unreleased songs from the '90s.
Produced by CJ Camerieri, whose previous credits include Bon Iver and Paul Simon, the 12-song project was created by Hoffs alongside a team of collaborators that includes Rufus Wainwright, Dan Wilson, Edie Brickell, Greg Leisz and Ryan Lerman.
Alongside the announcement, Hoffs has shared the album's lead single, Casablanca, a summery acoustic love song that reflects on a brief romance inspired by a surreal New Orleans meeting with the late Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir in 1988.
Hoffs will support the album with a tour of the US this autumn, which inludes shows with Billy Idol, appearances at Sea.Hear.Now Festival in New Jersey and Oceans Calling Festival in Maryland, and a five-night New York residency.
