Ringo Starr has announced a US tour for the fall.
Having recently wrapped up dates on the West Coast, the former Beatles drummer and his All Starr Band are set to head east for 10 shows this autumn, kicking off the run on September 24 at the State Theatre in Easton, Pennsylvania and wrapping up at the Palace Theatre in Albany, New York on October 7.
During the run, Starr and his band — Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette and Buck Johnson — will call in Bethel, Holmdel, Washington D.C., Boston, Portland, Wallingford and Lancaster. They'll also play Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York on October 1, marking Starr's first performance at the venue since The Beatles played there in 1964.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (July 10).
Starr, who celebrates his 86th birthday today (July 7), released his new album, 'Long Long Road', in April, his second collaborative project with producer T Bone Burnett, following last year's 'Look Up'.
He also recently collaborated with fellow Beatle Paul McCartney on a duet titled Home To Us, which features on McCartney's new album, 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane', released in May.
