Ceremony Tease 'Tell Me Your Dream' With New Single Dark Summer

Ceremony have shared a new single, Dark Summer.
Following Death Destruction and Other Hells, the brooding Dark Summer arrives with a video by Joshua Cannon and Benjamin Rednour. Commenting on the song, vocalist Ross Farrar said:
"In Rock ‘n Roll music, feedback occurs when a guitar is purposely moved too close to an amplifier – like a dark summer – when dread finds you amid brilliant sunshine, it feels disorienting, confusing, and chaotic. What you’re left with is malaise, doldrums of sorts that are both beautiful and terrifying."
The post-punk track marks the third preview of 'Tell Me Your Dream', the California-based punk band's seventh album, due out on August 7 via Relapse.
After playing both weekends at the Coachella festival in California earlier this year, Ceremony — completed by Anthony Anzaldo, Andy Nelson, Justin Davis and Jake Casarotti — will follow the album's release with a North American tour running from September 9 to November 20. Tickets are on sale now.
