Mallory Knox have released a new single.
Afterglow is the first new music to come from the Cambridge alt-rock band since the return of their original frontman Mikey Chapman and is a statement of intent for what's to come from a collection of new material they wrote and recorded over the last year. Introducing the arena-sized, melodic rock track, Chapman said:
"Afterglow is the very first song Dave [Rawling - drums], James [Gillett - guitar] and I jammed out after deciding to write again as a band. The song reflects the anticipation, excitement and hope we found in those initial moments as we brought the band back to life. Lyrically, I wanted to embody the mantra that I had been telling myself for some time at that point - that there is life yet to be lived if only you are willing to try. I hope that many will find their own inspiration and hope within the song too."
The new single arrives ahead of the trio's sold-out shows at The Lower Third in London on August 21 and Manchester's Deaf Institute on August 22.
Mallory Knox's latest album is their 2019 self-titled LP.
Mallory Knox Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Fri August 21 2026 - LONDON Lower Third - Outernet
Sat August 22 2026 - MANCHESTER Deaf Institute - Music Hall
