Friendly Fires have returned with a new single.

Released via LAB Records, Lose All Your Friends finds the St. Albans band, now a duo of Ed Macfarlane and Edd Gibson, going back to their roots, using live drums and a more raw, natural sound to capture the excitement of a night out, where taking the unknown path and losing your friends might lead to the time of your life. They explained:

"Sometimes you have to lose everything to start again. Embrace the chaos. Take a chance. Don’t be afraid of change."

The indie-pop track marks the band's first new music since their third album 'Inflorescent' and the 'Offline' EP, both released in 2019. It follows their recent summer festival appearances and a performance at Cardiff Castle supporting Two Door Cinema Club.

They'll continue opening for the Northern Irish indie-pop trio in the US, with shows at New York's Madison Square Garden and Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway next month, before returning for Bugged Out! at Drumsheds in London on October 10.
