Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have expanded their Anarchy In The U.K. tour this December with six new shows.
Classic Pistol’s members Paul Cook, Glen Matlock and Steve Jones, and vocalist Carter, have confirmed new shows in Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Portsmouth and Bristol, alongside their previously scheduled performances in Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, where they’ll play shows at the O2 Academy Brixton and the Eventim Apollo.
Tickets for the new shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 4). Their other dates are on sale now.
The shows will continue the punk legends' 2026 tour celebrating 50 years since their landmark show at Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall in June 1976. By September of that year, the Pistols were at the centre of the growing punk movement, and in October they signed to EMI and released their iconic track Anarchy In The U.K., helping bring punk into the mainstream. Guitarist Jones said:
"We're having a blast - we're like a well-oiled machine right now - and it's been incredible to get out there with these songs we wrote 50 years ago. We love it. Frank's a great frontman and really gets the crowd going. Every person in the audience loves these songs as much as we do and it’s an absolute pleasure to get out there and play them.”
Cook added: "With Anarchy, I think we tapped into a feeling of unrest around the country at the time. The message was pretty simple - just have a go and get out there and do whatever you want to do. It was a new world."
Ahead of their winter dates, the band will tour North America in September and October, refeshed after several major outdoor UK shows this summer.
