PISS Announce Debut Album 'you made me / skin on linen' With First Single time loop at hot slit

PISS have announced their debut album.
The Vancouver genre-bending punks will release 'you made me / skin on linen' through Paper Bag Records in Canada and Sub Pop in the rest of the world on October 30, following a collection of three demos released via Bandcamp in 2024.
Recorded in January 2025 alongside Colin Stewart at Hive Creative Labs, the album looks at a childhood shaped by different forms of violence, exploring experiences on development and how its effects can stay with us over time.
Alongside the announcement, the band have shared the record's first single, time loop at hot slit, an intense noise-punk track inspired by girlhood and the sexualisation of women. It arrives alongside a video co-directed by PISS frontperson Taylor Zantingh and Vivyen Sagsen, and shot on location at the now-closed DIY space Take Yr Time Back in the band's hometown. Zantingh said:
"Some of the people with whom I shared the earliest version of “time loop at hot slit” take the stage to sing it themselves. Our local scene has been singing this song with us for two years!! It's very exciting to finally share it with the world, but no matter where it ends up, it will always belong to the femmes, queers, and weirdos in the Vancouver underground community <3”.
PISS will play a trio of UK shows this week, including a date in Margate and sets at Brighton Psych Fest and End of The Road Festival. The four-piece will then tour North America supporting Gilla Band before returning for additional UK and European dates later in this autumn, including a London show at Moth Club on November 14. Tickets for that show go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 4).
