Stuart Cable Would Rejoin Stereophonics, Despite Bad Blood

Sunday, 09 April 2006 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageFormer Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable has revealed he would like to rejoin his former band, but doesn't think it will happen just yet, due to bad blood over his sacking in September 2004.

He formed Stereophonics with childhood friends Kelly Jones and Richard Jones in the small village of Cwmaman, in South Wales, back in the early ninties.

Cable is now enjoying his hiatus from the rigours of touring, with a successful media career, but says he misses the adrenaline of performing live.

The flamboyant star reached a six-figure settlement with his former group last year.

Speaking to soundgenerator Cable said:  "Right now, I would have to say no, but who knows - six, seven, ten years time - who knows

"I couldn't tell you, at the end of the day there's a lot of water gone under the bridge and there's a lot of things that have been said, especially from the side of the drama, that shouldn't have been said. Kelly's always quick to shoot his mouth off in the press and I never really say anything. There's a lot of issues there really, especially concerning myself and Kelly, there's a huge amount of issues."
