Carl Barat Keeps Door Open For Libertines Reunion

Tuesday, 18 April 2006 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageDirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat has once again reiterated his desire to work with Pete Doherty.

The Ex-Libertines singer was left devastated by the break-up of his former band, after the drug lifestyle of his former band mate Doherty led to the early demise of the group.

Barat said: "It devastated me. (Pete) was a shadow of the man."

"It would have killed me if I didn't have the support around me. The Libertines was my everything and my world fell apart."

"It's just sad and I wish he would sort it out. I would really like to work with him again some day."
