Alison Moyet Announces New Album 'Key' And 2025 World Tour

Alison Moyet has shared details of a new album.
The singer-songwriter will celebrate her 40th year as a solo artist with the release of 'Key' on October 4. Comprising 18 tracks, including a number of reworked singles, fan favourites and deep cuts, the collection will also feature two new recordings.
As a preview, the former Yazoo singer has shared one of the record's new songs, Such Small Ale, alongside a reinterpretation of her 1984 single All Cried Out, both of which show off her powerful, bluesy voice. Commenting on the project, she said:
"I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realized or have had their relevance to me altered by time.
"I hope this collection will be the key to those unopened doors. Let yourself in."
Known for solo hits such as All Cried Out, Is This Love? and Love Letters, Moyet will embark on a world tour in 2025, her first headline trek since 2017.
The 62-year-old will kick off the tour with UK and Ireland shows in February and March, before European gigs in the spring. Dates in North America, Australia and New Zealand are to be confirmed in due course.
She continued: "Live work really matters to me. I can’t dial in a performance. I love the physical feeling that singing gives me. It’s totally primal and euphoric. On stage, I remember how to connect with myself."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am next Friday (June 21).
