The Swn Festival Comes To Cardiff

Wristbands are still available for Cardiff’s three day Swn Fest. That’s three fantastic nights of crawl festival around the various venues of Cardiff. If cow poo and camping aren’t for you but you want the excitement of a festival with more intimate gigs and the advantages of civilisation, then you’re a little bit picky but catered for. What’s more, you might be able to catch such bands as Los Campesinos, Wild Beasts and Gaggle.

The Swn Festival was started in 2007 by Radio 1 DJ, Huw Stevens. Inspired by festivals held in exotic places such as Rejkjavik’s Airwaves, or Texas’ South by South West, The Swn Festival plans brings local and international acts swarming over Cardiff for three days of hearty music goodness and a festival with a difference; indoor toilets and central heating spring to mind.
