The New York indie-pop artist’s single 'The Way I Am' peaked at number 3 on iTunes as her MySpace page nearly melted under the strain of 90,000 hits a day. Following on from the single’s success, the album, ‘Girls & Boys’ sold more than 400, 000 copies on Michaelson’s own Cabin 24 label
Often sited as the new face of the music business, thanks to her DIY MySpace success, Michaelson seeks to repeat her stateside success in the UK with the recent release of her new album ‘Everybody’ which will be followed by the single ‘Maybe’ on November 16th.
