Foals Name New Album ‘Total Life Forever’

Wednesday, 24 February 2010 Written by Matt Hamm

The Foals have announced the title and release date for their follow up to their 2008 debut ‘Antidotes’.

Titled ‘Total Life Forever’, the Oxford band recorded their second outing in Gothenburg with the help of producer Luke Smith (formerly of punk-electro pop band Clor). It will hit digital shelves and those of HMV on May 10th.

On a slightly more mysterious note, Yannis and the gang also wrote that “something pretty, pretty, pretty good will be happening on the airwaves this coming Monday”. So keep your ears and eyes peeled for Monday 1st and the first play of a new track live on radio.

The Foals have also revealed that they will play four gigs across Europe. Starting at the Berlin Columbia Club (April 12), Amsterdam Paradiso (14), the Paris Trabendo (15) and ending at Bourges’ Printemps du Bourges (17).

The Foals May 2010 UK tour dates and ticket details are set to be announced next week... stay tuned!
