Jean Michel Jarre Announces Three-Date UK Tour & Tickets

Electronic music pioneer Jean Michel Jarre has announced a trio of UK dates for October 2010.
The French composer, producer and performer is widely regarded as one of the original pioneers of experimental electro pop music. He is also well known for his extravagant live shows which often involve lasers, visuals and fireworks.
By entitling his new tour ‘2010’, Jean Michel Jarre is paying tribute to the writer Sir Arthur C Clarke, the cult science fiction literary giant who wrote both 2001 and 2010. Sir Arthur C Clarke had this to say about the French star. "I listened to all of Jean Michel Jarre’s albums obsessively, to the point of knowing every note by heart. His music accompanied me as I wrote ‘2010 : Odyssey Two’. His concerts are always a celebration of wonderment."
Jarre’s world tour, which began six months ago, has already played at packed houses across Norway, Finland, Sweden, Holland and Poland to audiences of all generations. His influences are amongst many artists today, from Air to Daft Punk, Moby or The Chemical Brothers.
Those who have already had the chance to witness his concerts will forever remember the extraordinary events. The integration of the very latest technology in sound, light and special effects achieve an outstanding result.

8th Birmingham National Indoor Arena
9th Manchester Evening News Arena
10th The O2 Arena, London
