The Charlatans Announce Two More 'Some Friendly' Shows & Ticket Details

Due to overwhelming public demand, THE CHARLATANS have announced two further ‘Some Friendly’ dates for May 2010.

Having sold out their London Roundhouse show in under two hours last month, the band have confirmed two more retrospective shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland on May 14th and Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on May 15th.

The Charlatans have just finished recording their new album with producer Youth, which is due for release in June 2010. The band will be playing 'Some Friendly' in its entirety as well as classic tracks from their back catalogue and some from their forthcoming album.

The gigs co-incide with the 20th anniversary of the release of ‘Some Friendly’ which includes the tracks ‘Then’, ‘Sproston Green’ and the Top Ten single ‘The Only One I Know’. The Charlatans will be reissuing the seminal album later in the year.

Extra Charlatans performing 'Some Friendly' tour dates are as follows;

14th May - Glasgow, Barrowland
15th May - Blackpool, Empress Ballroom

Tickets go on sale Friday 12th March at 9am, priced £25.00 plus booking fee.

Support on all dates is to be confirmed.

Twenty One Pilots - Trench (Album Review)
Mon 08 Oct 2018
In 2015, Twenty One Pilots got their big break. The Ohioans’ fourth album, ‘Blurryface’, summited the US chart and sent two singles into similarly rarefied air. The following year another song, Heathens, ushered in the soundtrack to the hit film, Suicide Squad. The resulting period has seen the band ascend to arena-filling stardom and paved the way for ‘Trench’, a record that combines their distinctive blend of elaborate production with re-upped nu-metal.
