The Dallas Stars are an American ice hockey team hailing from Dallas, Texas. Founded in Minnesota back in 1967, the franchise moved to Dallas in 1993, where it has remained ever since.
The late '90s would see the Stars' most successful seasons, with their 1998/99 season seeing them bring home the Stanley Cup, a Conference Championship, a Division Title, and even the President's Trophy. They even made the finals again the following season, and picked up the Trophy again. However, late in the '00s, their success would dwindle, and from 2009 to 2013, they would fail to qualify for the post-season.
