Dave Davies - full name David Russell Gordon ‘Dave’ Davies - is an English rock singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Fortis Green, London. Born in 1947, he’s best known as the vocalist and lead guitarist of legendary outfit The Kinks.

Rolling Stones’ 88th greatest guitarist of all-time, he has also worked on his fair share of solo material, and performs across the globe in his own right. In 2014, he returned to London to perform his first UK concert in 13 years at the Barbican Hall on April 11.

Davies played in the UK in 2015, supporting his up and coming live album, 'Rippin’ Up New York City', and documentary film, Dave Davies: Strangers. 2017 saw him release 'Open Road', an album he made with his son.
