Whitesnake, on the other hand, are another English rock band, this time hailing from Middlesbrough. Founded in 1978 by David Coverdale after leaving his previous band, Deep Purple, it also currently features Tommy Aldridge, Reb Beach, Joel Hoekstra, and Michael Devin.
