Devon Allman Project Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫Last Updated: 26 Feb 2018 12:27pm
Devon Allman is a blues rock musician, the song of Gregg Allman.
He formed Honeytribe in 1999, who, after recording studio demos and playing festival slots, disbanded so Allman could spend time with his newborn son. He continued to write songs and play small solo acoustic shows until the band reformed in 2005, going on to release 'Torch' in 2006, and 'Space Age Blues' in 2010 with a different line-up. The next project on the horizon for Allman was the Royal Southern Brotherhood, a blues rock/jam band super group, who issued a self-titled album in 2012. But, ever restless, this lost steam too, and it was the year later that Allman released his first proper solo album, 'Turquoise'. Now, in 2018, The Devon Allman Project will embark on a Planet Rock presents tour this autumn with Duane Betts. In homage to Devon’s late-great dad Gregg Allman and Duane’s dad Dickey Betts, each night will culminate with an encore set including Allman Brothers songs with Devon, Duane and special guests participating. The setlist each night will feature a set of Duane’s original recordings, Devon Allman originals and songs by Devon’s former bands Royal Southern Brotherhood and Honeytribe.
