Fleshgod Apocalypse is a death metal band from Rome, Italy, consisting of Franesco Paoli, Christiano Trionfera, Paolo Rossi, Tommaso Riccardi and Francesco Ferrini.
Formed in 2007, by Hour of Penance’s Franesco Paoli, the band’s demo got them signed to Neurotic Records. They moved to Willowtip Records to release their debut album, ‘Oracles’ in 2009. Paoli eventually quit Hour of Penance, to fully concentrate on Fleshgod Apocalypse. The band signed to Nuclear Blast Records in 2011 and released their second album, ‘Agony’, the same year, followed by ‘Labyrinth’ in 2013. The band's fourth album, ‘KING’, was released in February 2016. The band have played with the likes of Behemoth, Origin, Dying Fetus, Hate Eternal, Suffocation and Napalm Death, as well as 2011’s Summer Slaughter Tour in the USA, alongside co-headliners Whitechapel and The Black Dahlia Murder.
