For Today is an American metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, consisting of Ryan Leitru, Mattie Montgomery, Brandon Leitru, David Puckett and Jim Hughes.
Formed in 2005, the band released their debut EP, ‘Your Moment, Your Life, Your Time’, in 2006, followed by their debut album, ‘Ekklesia’ in 2008. They have since gone on to release a further five albums: ‘Portraits’ in 2009, ‘Breaker’ in 2010, ‘Immortal’ in 2012, ‘Fight the Silence’ in 2014, and 'Wake', in 2015. The band have toured extensively supporting bands such as Saving Grace, The Chariot, MyChildren MyBride, and The Devil Wears Prada, as well as making appearances at festivals such as Cornerstone, and Metal Fest, and taking part in tours like Scream the Prayer Tour in 2010 Warped Tour 2012. For Today have a massive run of North American tour dates set for September to December, but make a stop in the UK in late October for a show in London's Underworld.
